The Brief
Hey, I’m a member of the TRU Colors Brewing team. As crazy as it may sound, TRU Colors is a new brewery that was founded by active gang members— think Bloods, Crips and Gangster Disciples/Folks. You can learn more by going to www.trucolors.co and by checking out these news videos
As the gateway/requirement for becoming a TRU Colors Brewing employee, each person must first work at least 2 months in what we call the Apprentice Program. Which is what I need a logo for to go on clothing.
What is the Apprentice Program? Anyone who wants to work at TRU Colors Brewing must spend a minimum of 2 months doing some type of manual labor meaning (construction, landscaping, roofing, ect.).
Why does the Apprentice Program exist? The purpose of the Apprentice Program is to make sure the people we bring on are highly motivated, ready for change, and also meet the expectations of the company.
What are the expectations of the Apprentice Program? Our expectations for all apprentices are to be on time, do what they say they’re going to do, and inject positive energy into everything they do.
Target Audience
Business owners in the manual labor industry that would contract our apprentices to perform manual labor responsibilities — for example, Construction, Landscaping, Car Washes, Roofing, etc.
Logo Requirements
Logosauce Standard Final Art Requirements: Vector artwork in Pantone SPOT, CMYK, RGB and BW versions. Files should be saved in Adobe Illustrator .ai or .eps file formats with all strokes converted to objects and fonts pathed/outlined. Other file formats may be acceptable in exceptional circumstances.

Sorry, the competition was a little broad. I still want the same concept, but I want the logo to define growth and discipline. But at the same time, something simple. For example, the Nike logo or how the Ford logo looks tough, but it’s not so obvious what they’re selling.

Hello Play6!
2018-02-15 16:34:09 UTCFirst of all it’s a pity that people are working according to a brief that is not completely defined, secondly, your example of logos, Ford and Nike are not logos representative of any action related to the product, one is an abstract symbol and the other is simply the use of typography, what relationship there is between these examples and their item to show growth and discipline, it is quite confusing.

IMHO, You guys just do it in black and white and let just client decide what color they want to use. And once again, read the brief carefully :)

Hey Designers maybe you need use a bit of imagination to interpret the brief. Paulo has done so and come up with a brilliant concept in my mind. Take a look
