I need a logo for an upscale boys /children’s line of outdoor apparel/clothing.
The Name of the company is – “Beckett & Banks Outfitters”. The company was named after my two sons that are avid outdoor kids – Beckett aged 8 and Banks 4. For a little background on the company it is a youth oriented hunting and fishing guide service with offices in Colorado and North Carolina, USA which caters to very affluent breed of young hunters and their fathers/parents. This line of clothing will be a an offshoot of that business with first a line of t-shirts with cool quotes & sayings (think Nike basketball shirts) followed by dress shirts, sweatshirts, hats, outerwear, etc designed for this brand extension.
As far as the name- if you feel your design works better with just “Beckett & Banks” as the major element, and “Outfitters” secondary – that is perfectly acceptable.
The logo should be upscale typeface with some sort of logo treatment to the B&BO of the name, or some sort of outdoors approach. A nice typeface logo along with some sort of “mark” would work ( such as the Alligator for Lacoste, Polo pony for Polo, the whale for Vineyard vines, etc) This clothing in both style, price point and quality will be along the lines of Ralph Lauren/ Polo and Vineyard Vines – so think Southern US, Preppie, Collegiate.
Not looking for a simple clip art photo attached to a simple font, I’d like to see some more design flair. Also NOT looking for a “Childrens logo” with crayon fonts or silly/youthful artwork – this is a serious, upscale brand that caters to young affluent boys that like hunting, fishing & the outdoors and want to look good doing it, BUT it still needs to retain a youthful, fun & extreme vibe to it.
BUT then again i don’t want to limit your creativity, so if something hits you outside of this brief, please feel free to submit it… I just might not know what I’m looking for until I see it.
Our target audience are those upper middle class boys (and their parents) that love the outdoors (hunting & fishing) that are looking for more classy/fun/quality apparel that reflects that lifestyle, but of better quality (and more limited) than you would find at a Bass Pro Shop of Cabela’s. This brand will be a “Best kept secret” brand without major market appeal or availability. A good way to think about this brand is its a brand that a father that doesn’t think twice about spending $5,000 on a shotgun, and $25,000 on a 3 day hunting trip would buy for his kids.
Logosauce Standard Final Art Requirements: Vector artwork in Pantone SPOT, CMYK, RGB and BW versions. Files should be saved in Adobe Illustrator .ai or .eps file formats with all strokes converted to objects and fonts pathed/outlined. Other file formats may be acceptable in exceptional circumstances.
