I represent the wonderful Shehada family who wish to start their own foundation, after decades of very hard work and many successful small family business ventures.
The main three pillars of that the organisation wants to support and fully fund are:
1. Micro-finance for women in developing countries
2. Supporting orphanages and start the process of building and operating their own
3. Encouraging and empowering people to volunteer in their local communities and to get involved to make a change
The logo should contain the full name of the organisation “Shehada Family Foundation”.
If it works, then maybe the word “The …” could be included.
From a colour scheme perspective the family like earthy colours, although these could be used for main theme of the website, and not necessarily the logo, however if it ends up being that the website contains earthy tones, then the logo colours would need to be a contrasting colour so it stands out, but not clashing in anyway (ie: no electric greens and reds!)
The font to be used should be elegant and classy, refined, formal but still fashionable, but not fancy. Preferably a font that isn’t often used.
There is no objection to any shapes or symbols to accompany the name within the logo – we’re looking forward to seeing a diverse range of ideas.
Ultimately whilst the foundation is funded by the family, and it should have a friendly, approachable family feel. The Shehada’s are very humble and down to earth people, with huge hearts who never say no to helping anyone in need. Therefore please avoid anything corporate looking, although equally we don’t want anything casual or festive given the nature of the work to be conducted by the foundation.
Whilst the website will welcome anyone to view it, and will be clear to navigate, we imagine the audience will be mostly 30+ adults interested in philanthropic work who may wish to get involved in similar activities.
