Logosauce Standard Final Art Requirements: Vector artwork in Pantone SPOT, CMYK, RGB and BW versions. Files should be saved in Adobe Illustrator .ai or .eps file formats with all strokes converted to objects and fonts pathed/outlined. Other file formats may be acceptable in exceptional circumstances.

As this contest is wrapping up, I’d like to apologize if I have not provided enough comment to allow you the ability to create.

With that said, you should be able to tell based on the variations of submissions, which entries I am really liking, so in an effort to provide you with more input, I offer the following.

To me, the overall logo, has to look good on a road side sign. Something that makes people passing by say, that is Sweet Carolina Realty, without even being close enough to read the lettering. That can be accomplished with coloring, as well as the design.

Maybe it’s the engineer in me, or being a visual person, but, being drawn to the artwork is important to me. Also, it may be that the artwork will be separated for marketing materials, lapel pins, key chains etc. Regardless, it has to be uniquely identifiable to Sweet Carolina Realty, so, if it is found people go, ahh, SCR, Sweet Carolina Realty. So the brand has to be identifiable both in the full logo, with lettering, but also artwork.

There are many, many real estate agents, and many can do the function. I and my colleagues pride ourselves on being “professional”. So, not so much fluffy, frilly, etc., as it could get lost in the general public.

We are unique, professional, with varying backgrounds, many of us from other corporate functions. Example, I am a retired Naval Officer, currently licensed Civil Engineer, and it this type of background that I and my colleagues bring to our functions as professional agents.
