The Brief

We want to create some stickers and perhaps some t-shirts with a team logo. The team being team Innomate.

Innomate is a small “under the radar” team of 5 persons inside a company.
The name is derived from Innovation and mate(pal, friend)
The logo should contain a unicorn and sparkles. It should convey friendliness and innovation.

Target Audience

It is meant for company internal.
It should be fun and a bit over the top. We are some guys who do innovation things of the radar, until it is done.
It should appeal to engineers and managers the like. But basically it needs to appeal to us :-)

Logo Requirements

Logosauce Standard Final Art Requirements: Vector artwork in Pantone SPOT, CMYK, RGB and BW versions. Files should be saved in Adobe Illustrator .ai or .eps file formats with all strokes converted to objects and fonts pathed/outlined. Other file formats may be acceptable in exceptional circumstances.

Yup. Illustrator is fine!

Hi

What is your company name? Maybe we can add this as bottom title, and may i know why do you pick unicorn as symbol? Thanks.

Hi elaes,

We like it without the company name.
And Unicorns are magical, friendly and just plain cool

Craig (and rest),

It is fine for us. I like it and no problem.

And to add water or oil to the fire:
I don’t know about “copied”. It can be inspired. It can be parallel evolution. Whatever. It is different non the less.
So it fits are purpose and we are happy.
Bring it on!

Craig must be happy too for making money for someone else’s logo :)

@Pulleman: Its really shocking to see commets like
" It is fine for us. I like it and no problem.
I don’t know about “copied”. It can be inspired. It can be parallel evolution. Whatever. It is different non the less."

When the designer himself has accepted that the logo has been copied, if you go ahead with logo then you will be committing a willful copyright infringement, for which you might have to pay a small amount of $150,000.
More so for a designer like Craig it would be blemish on his portfolio and given the fact that he willing to change the logo considerably my suggestion would be not to use it in its current form but go for someone else or for a change from Craig.
