Urban Library Journal (ULJ) is a web-based, peer-reviewed, academic journal that focuses on highlighting issues within urban libraries and librarianship. The editors of ULJ are looking for a professional, attractive, and identifiable logo for the banner header of its website.
Urban Library Journal should be spelled out in its entirety, but the acronym ULJ can also be incorporated into the design. Although Urban Library Journal focuses on library issues, depictions of books should be avoided. Designers are encouraged to create a logo that is future-thinking, examining the evolution of information.
The target audience of Urban Library Journal are primarily academic librarians, higher education professionals, and library school students.
Logosauce Standard Final Art Requirements: Vector artwork in Pantone SPOT, CMYK, RGB and BW versions. Files should be saved in Adobe Illustrator .ai or .eps file formats with all strokes converted to objects and fonts pathed/outlined. Other file formats may be acceptable in exceptional circumstances.
The dimensions for the header banner should be 980 pixels wide and 126 pixels high.
