Flood Releif, Inc.:

Here we emphasize the emergency nature of the biz, ergo; the red cross ( which I expected ) not too fond of the briefcase though…would like to see more of a complex cross. I searched logo sauce under emergency & saw a cross I liked with the outline of a state ( here we are in California ) which may fit nicely. Also the “inc.” is part of the name and might be ok in a different color if, perhaps, it was inside a rain drop ?
I am undecided yet weather to emphasize the drying nature of the biz here and thought maybe I would see outlines of a house with maybe a sun glaring down; or a puddle of water evaporating etc. ( albiet pretty common place industry design though )
or an elephant outline sucking up a puddle with it’s trunk ( different does stand apart )
Or weather to emphasize the quick response element of the biz with maybe a a stop watch
Or the impulsive choice of a smart phone with our name on the screen
Hope this helps

Designers, FYI…the use of the red cross, name or symbol, is limited to The American Red Cross, under US Criminal Code so I would be careful when using a red cross and certainly in conjunction with the word “relief.”
