The Brief

We require a logo for a newly founded law firm that will be providing services in the area of international business law with a focus on Europe and Latin America.

The name of the company which needs to be featured in the logo is: Pellon & Associados Europe LLP

The color red needs to be used in the logo (as it is our signatory color). Currently, we think that only black and/or white should be added, but if you feel a different color will be necessary to complement the logo, let us see your suggestions and maybe you can convince us otherwise.

We would like a graphic element that can be used to signify our firm. Maybe you could create such an element using the P or the term Pellon and add it to the name (to enable us to use it independently as well).

An alternative would be for the logo to encompass the complete name (Pellon & Associados Europe LLP) in a box, circle or some other form to create the logo. If you would like to try such a set up, then again either the P or the term Pellon should probably stand out. The rest of the name can be set in smaller print.

Please do not use any graphic elements that one might typically associate with a law firm (scales, lady justice or something of this nature).

The logo should be kept simple (easy to use on business cards, stationary, etc.). If you can give it a modern touch without going “overboard” (our audience is likely to be more conservative) than this would be great.

We will surely have a daily look at the competition entries, let you know what we like and try to help you along in developing a logo most suited to our needs. The final logo should be made available in .eps, .jpg and .png format.

If you have any questions, feel free to let us know.
